Herky, - thanks for your perpetual cup half full view of life, your music,
your wonderful pins and checkbook covers, and sharing the chocolate and dutch
letters! Oh, and being gracious about our teasing you about your rug.. I mean
coat.. and, I like bunnies. they are cool pets.. but no, I don't want your
new coat.
Lisa- For quietly going outside to look for my long lost earring (I saw you!)
and no, I didn't find it. (sniff), and letting us chide you about snoring (we
are all guilty, you just happened to be in the central location in the cabin!)
GG- you are such a good sport! Geeze, if any one of us got razzed HALF as much
as you, about John, about the pronunciation about salivary glands, etc., I
dont' think we would have been near the gracious object of attention that you
always are... and thanks for my Mr PacMan I can hardly wait !!!And, BTW, you
were quite wonderful in your perceptions about clearing out and organizing
Mom's house. Thanks for your insights
Monica- for your conversation on my long way back, for the humpty dog. (Yikes)
for the expensive H20 stuff.. (i like it and will NOT regift it!! - now, the
humpty dog, that might be a different story..) and for bringing your game,
and tolerating us telling you it was dumb, even tho it was kinda fun... and
letting us mispronounce your exotic friends names in exotic places... etc.
and ma- geeze, ma. thanks for sharing your bed and financing the whole bloody
thing, and being the good sport you are, and being the role model for me of
what I hope to someday be for my kids. You are truly amazing, and look fantastic,

I am sure I forgot something somewhere, but those are the musings of my feeble
mind en route with sore butt...
but worth it. The Iowa countryside is gorgeous.
It is good to touch bases, even tho we didn't really touch them very hard,
it is still great to be in your company, and the sight of you all standing
in the driveway as I drove away tugged my inner soul; I love you all.
