Thank you guys for helping with the surprise for Mom!I got home on Friday night and Mom gave me her LONG LIST of things to do...we spent much of Saturday getting supplies and started in on the list. We took a break around three to go to Lincoln Highway Days in Nevada to see Anna perform with her group. We returned to Ames to have appetizers at Spice Restaurant and Gina and Elisa surpised her by walking in a few minutes after we'd arrived. Her first surprise...Sunday morning, Gina diverted Mom by taking her to church so that Elisa and I could prepare the house and food. We barely got done when they arrived home. Luckily, we'd gotten things hidden and Dave Burling showed up...further distracting Ms. Suzy Q. Linda and Robin came for lunch, which was unexpected for Mom but reasonable for a family get together...then, surprising us all was the arrival of Bob and Katie Whitmer!We brought out a cake just before the first wave of guests arrived and the party began. Not only did the following people come, but Mom got calls from David Marris, Katherine McCollum, Uncle David and Phoo,
